Right of Access to Information
Sri Lanka CERT | CC is committed to transparency and accountability. Under the Right to Information (RTI) Act, No. 12 of 2016, you may request access to information held by the organization, subject to legal provisions and exemptions.
Our objective is to facilitate your request efficiently and ensure your rights are respected throughout the process.
How to Request Information
To request information, you may complete the Information Request Application Form (e.g., Form RTI 01) or submit a written request to the Information Officer. You may also make a request in person by speaking directly with the Information Officer.
Tip: Provide a clear description of the information requested and include your preferred mode of response (email / post / inspection).
Appealing to the Designated Officer
If access is denied, or if you believe the information provided is incomplete or misleading, you may appeal to the Designated Officer by submitting an appeal form (e.g., Form RTI 10) within the legally specified period.
Costs for Information Requests
The following rates apply for standard services. Where an "Actual Cost" applies, the final amount will be based on the cost incurred by the authority.
